Welcome to Uganda Maize Roasting Fest<\/strong> \u2014 where a humble cob of maize becomes a powerful symbol of unity, generosity, and culture.<\/p>

Rooted in the heart of Uganda and spreading across every region of the Pearl of Africa, we are more than a festival. We are a movement. Through the warmth of an open grill, we bring together farmers, families, youth, and leaders \u2014 building bridges between communities that share one common love: maize.<\/p>

Every roasting event is an act of charity. We feed the hungry, support local farmers, and run outreach programmes that uplift the most vulnerable in our communities. When the smoke rises, so does hope.<\/p>

We believe in the power of connection. Our events are gathering grounds \u2014 spaces where local vendors grow their businesses, young people find opportunity, and neighbours become networks. From Kampala to Gulu, from Mbarara to Arua, every grill we light sparks a new relationship.<\/p>

And at the centre of it all is a simple, beautiful idea: maize is for everyone. Not a luxury, not a speciality \u2014 a snack for the street, the home, the school, and the celebration. Affordable, nourishing, and deeply Ugandan.<\/p>
